A support 'Concert for Palestine' brings top artists to the stage of the newly renovated Ääniwalli on May 16th.
'Concert for Palestine' follows the Art Patronage event 'Taidemesenaatti Palestiinan hyväksi', where an impressive €12042 was raised for Medical Aid for Palestinians and the Finnish Palestine Network SUMUD through donations of works by 95 artists.
Several top-tier artists are now showing their support for Palestinians at the concert on May 16th at Ääniwalli, with performances by Arppa, Asa, Elias Gould, F, Julia Delgado, Lyyti (solo), Mira Shatat, Paleface, Tonium 4 plays Plutonium 74, Q, Raappana, and Suad, accompanied by DJs Kenno, SoulllJay (Funky Amigos), and Smokey & Critical Moss.
The artists and performers participating in the Art Patronage and Concert for Palestine support concert advocate for equality and human rights by showing their support for Palestine. The third article of the United Nations states that everyone has the right to life, liberty, and personal security. It is time to demand change and these fundamental rights for Palestinians too!
The events are organized because the situation in Palestine is critical, and we have the opportunity to help. The Art Patronage – art sales for Palestine and Concert for Palestine events' proceeds are entirely directed to MAP - Medical Aid for Palestinians, which provides medical services in the West Bank and Gaza and advocates for Palestinian rights to health and dignity, as well as Sumud - Finnish Palestine Network, which works to end Israeli apartheid, occupation, and colonialism and to realize Palestinian human and political rights.
