The Japanese visual kei duo ADAMS will be playing their first gig in Finland on Friday, April the 11th. The ticket sale for the all ages concert at Kulttuuriareena Gloria in Helsinki will begin on Friday, January the 10th. The concert is part of the band’s European tour that is scheduled for next spring and the duo has also promised that the new album “69” will be released around that time.
The vocalist Adam and the guitarist Shota who together form ADAMS have developed their own concept of universal love they call “neo sexual”, which they bring forward through their lyrics, videos and pictures.
”By neo sexual, we wish to create a new gender, something unisex, erasing the borders between men and women, because love is a universal story. Our sound is the same. We do love songs, which are not clearly visual kei, nor J-Pop, nor club music. It’s a borderless mix between all of that, like a new music genre", explained Shota for Nippon Project in August 2013.
