The summer brings two big, yet very different, hip hop stars to Finland. One of the hardcore rap legends, Mobb Deep, arrives in Helsinki in June, and hip-hop’s fastest rising female artist, Angel Haze, in July. Recently their eighth "The Infamous Mobb Deep"- studio album released rap duo will perform at Tavastia Klubi on Tuesday, 17th of June. At the beginning of the year her debut album released Angel Haze, will take upon the legendary stage of Tavastia on Wednesday, 16th of July. Both of the gig’s tickets are now on sale.

Queens, New York City, the duo Mobb Deep consists of Havoc (Kejuan
Muchita) and Prodigy (Albert Johnson). The group is best known for its
dark, hardcore delivery as exemplified by the single "Shook Ones Pt.
II”. These messengers of dark hip-hop are claimed as one of the most
glorified rap duos of all time.
The Mobb Deep rose to public’s
consciousness with a boom in 1995. Two of their albums have been
critically acclaimed, “The Infamous” and “Hell on Earth”, both of which
is considered to be classic among avid Hip-Hop listeners and general
fans. Along their 20 - year career, Mobb Deep has been able to create a
respectable and international career, as well as to contribute to the
emergence of the genre itself. The last time the duo has performed in
Europe, was over nine years ago.
Born and raised in Detroit,
Angel Haze (Raykeea Angel Wilson) is a 22 -year-old rap sensation. The
artist, who was ranked third last year in the BBC's Sound of 2013-
listing, is known for bold rhymes and fresh urban sounds.
